Sisters in Crime Virtual Meeting - February

The Houston Chapter of Sisters in Crime (SInC) will meet at MBTB monthly. For more information about SInC, please visit https://www.sistersincrime.org/.

February's speaker is Jennifer Stratton Udden, and her presentation will be "Working With Freelance Editors."

Ever thought about hiring a freelance editor for your work? In this talk, former literary agent Jennifer Udden will discuss what an editor can (and can't) do for you, where to find one, how much it might cost, and what the process looks like. She'll also be able to answer questions about the publishing industry and connecting with literary agents.

Jennifer Udden is a freelance editor and former literary agent. She spent ten years as a literary agent in New York City, working for such agencies as Donald Maass Literary and Barry Goldblatt Literary. She is a Houston native and lives in Brooklyn with her sister and her dog Barnaby, who she named after the detective from Midsomer Murders.
